Frequently asked questions
Turnaround, materials, ordering, shipping, returns, and pricing in one place.
How long does an order take?
Store pieces are made to order: delivery usually takes 5-10 business days from order to arrival, including processing and transit time. See Shipping for the full policy. Custom quotes get an engineering review and a response within 1 business day; production timing after that depends on the project.
What materials do you offer?
Our FDM catalog spans standard, engineering, flexible, and composite polymers, including PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, TPU, Nylon (PA), Carbon Fiber Nylon. See Materials for a filterable comparison.
How does a custom order work?
Send your CAD files, or describe the part or idea, through Request a Quote. We review it for manufacturability, recommend a process and material, and send back a quote with pricing and timing. Once you approve it, the part enters our print queue.
What file formats do you accept?
STEP (
.step/.stp) or STL (.stl) are preferred for 3D geometry; native CAD formats (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) also work; we'll convert them. How much will my part cost?
Store pieces are priced right on their product page. For a custom part, including engineering review, material recommendations, or production-run pricing, use Request a Quote.
Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
Store orders currently ship domestically within Canada at a flat rate, calculated at checkout, or can be picked up locally near our Toronto facility at no cost. See Shipping for full details, including processing time.
Can I return or exchange a piece?
Made-to-order pieces are final sale except for manufacturing defects, which we cover within 14 days of delivery with photo evidence. In-stock pieces can be returned unused, in original condition, within 30 days. Full details on Returns.
